Program Overview                                                                                     

 

One of Nova Scotia's provincial nomination programs, Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities, is to select applicants who meet the province's labor market needs in the federal EE system. Only applicants who received Letter of Interest from NS may apply.

2021-10-07: NOC 7271 Carpenter (1 year relevant work experience, language CLB5)

2021-03-29: French as the first official language (French CLB9, English CLB7)

2021-01-19: NOC 1114 Other Financial Officer (4 years relevant work experience, language CLB9)

2020-12-01: have a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer (1 year relevant work experience, language CLB5)

2020-10-22: NOC 2174 Programmers and interactive media developers (1 year relevant work experience, language CLB7)

2020-09-24: NOC 7322 Motor vehicle body repairers; NOC 7321 truck and bus mechanics and mechanical repairers (5 years relevant work experience, language CLB5)

2020-05-22: NOC 3012 Registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (3 years relevant work experience, language CLB8)

2020-04-27: French as the first official language (French CLB8, English CLB6)

2019-12-20: NOC 1123 Advertising, marketing or public relations (2 years relevant work experience, language CLB9)

2019-12-05: NOC 4212 Social and community service workers (2 years relevant work experience, language 7)

2019-10-28: NOC 3012 Registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse (3 years relevant work experience, language CLB8)

Program Advantages

 

  • Less processing time, usually 6 months

  • No Canadian work experience required

  • No Canadian education required

 

 

Program requirements                                                                                     

 

  • Has created a profile in Express Entry

  • Meet the minimum work experience requirements

  • Meet eligibility criteria

  • Receive a Letter of Interest from the Nova Scotia Nominee Program within the Express Entry system

  • Submit your application within 30 calendar days of the date on which your letter of interest was issued

  • Demonstrate sufficient funds

  • Have legal status in the current country of residence
